Qatar Cool, sponsor of the fifth IDEA International District Cooling conference from 7-9 November in Doha, will host a gala ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the world’s largest district cooling plant, the 130,000 TR plant at The Pearl Qatar.

The conference theme is ‘District Cooling: Greener Buildings, Smarter Grid’, emphasising the advantages of district cooling systems in improving end-use energy efficiency in customer buildings and reducing the economic and environmental strain on the regional power grid and supporting sustainable solutions.

The US Ambassador to Qatar, the Honorable Joseph Evan LeBaron, will also give an address at the luncheon and present an Export Achievement Award.
