L&T wins deal for Oman resi

Indian construction giant Larsen and Toubro (Oman) has secured orders valued at US $120 million (OR46 million) for the construction of apartment blocks and villas in Sohar.

Indian construction giant Larsen and Toubro (Oman) has secured orders valued at US $120 million (OR46 million) for the construction of apartment blocks and villas in Sohar.

A local client is developing the greenfield township project, to meet the increasing demand for residential property.

The work will be split into two packages, one of which will cover construction of 149 villas and the other for nine apartment blocks.

Larsen and Toubro (Oman) is a joint venture of Larsen & Toubro India and Zubair Corp.
