Jack Ball

Jack Ball is Construction Week’s senior reporter, and joined the team at ITP Media Group’s Dubai headquarters in July 2018, prior to which he was reporter at Euromoney Institutional Investor in London.

Jack is involved with much of the digital content visible on Construction Week’s platforms – from stories for ConstructionWeekOnline to content for Construction Week on YouTube. Alongside deputy editor Oscar Rousseau, Jack also appears on Construction Week Viewpoint, the brand’s weekly podcast series that is hosted on SoundCloud.

Jack’s previous employers include Strategy International, Inspire Publishing, and Ashurst in the UK. Additionally, Jack has also worked as a political intern at US Congress between July and December 2010, and April and July 2011.

Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the University of Sussex in the UK – a course for which he attended Australia’s Monash University in Melbourne as an exchange student in 2013. Jack also holds a master’s degree in international relations and affairs, with merit, from King’s College London.
