Oscar Rousseau

Oscar Rousseau is deputy editor of Construction Week, the premier news and insights outlet for construction professionals and leaders in the Middle East.

Oscar joined Construction Week, published by ITP Media Group, in February 2018, prior to which he was multimedia features writer at UK-based publishing company William Reed Business Media.

At Construction Week, Oscar is directly involved with the brand’s SoundCloud show, Construction Week Viewpoint, and regularly appears on Construction Week In Focus, the team’s YouTube bulletin show, in addition to writing news and longform articles for the brand.

His work experience includes time with the UK’s BBC, Olympic Broadcasting Services, and World News Media Ltd, and India’s The New Indian Express.

Oscar, an Arsenal fan, holds a BA (hons) Journalism degree from the University of Westminster, where he was involved with such activities as rowing and Muay Thai. Oscar spent 19 months as web and social media reporter at University of Westminster Students’ Union, and was involved in the relaunch of the university’s student magazine, Smoke, between May 2013 and 2014.
