UK-based toilet cleaning brand Domestos carried out a community clean-up drive as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts for Ramadan, which involved the cleaning of bathrooms in the Mayar Worker’s Village, located within Dubai Industrial City.

As part of the activity, Domestos volunteers cleaned more than 150 toilets within the worker's accommodation.

Inspired by the Dubai Health Strategy 2021, the effort aims to reflect the UAE’s drive for better health and hygiene of local communities.

Domestos UK has been in partnership with Unicef over the last six years to support its programmes and help those living in areas with less than adequate sanitation.
