New brand to run Accor's Saudi Arabia hotels in Makkah, Madinah
Accor Holy Destinations to manage eight Makkah and three Madinah properties, unifying Hajj and Umrah bookings
French hospitality group Accor has rebranded in Saudi Arabia as 'Accor Holy Destinations', with the brand combining all properties operated by the hotelier in Saudi Arabia's Two Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah – including the Makkah Clock Royal Tower and Pullman Zamzam Madinah hotels, among numerous others – and unifying Hajj and Umrah booking processes in both cities, managing director, Alaedin Saleh, said.
Accor's Makkah hotels in additon to the Clock Royal Tower hotel include Fairmont Hotel, Swissôtel Al Maqam, Raffles Makkah Palace, Ibis Styles, Swissôtel Makkah, Pullman Zamzam, Mövenpick Hajar, and Mercure Hibatullah.
In Madinah, Accor's portfolio features Pullman Zamzam Madinah, Anwar Al Madinah Mövenpick Hotel, and Mövenpick Madinah.
Saleh said Accor Holy Destinations would have deploy a digital booking platform allowing visitors to access information to comfortably perform their journeys.
He continued: “Additionally, we trust this will contribute to the development of the field and achieve the desired objectives of the target audience from outside and inside the kingdom."
