Dubai's Danube Group, a building materials and real estate company founded by Indian business leader Rizwan Sajan, has marked its foray into hospitality with the launch of interiors subsidiary Danube Hospitality Solutions, which will “cater exclusively to the growing hospitality needs of the region”.

Danube Hospitality Solutions will offer services related to the supply, design, redesign, and refurbishment of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE), as well as operating supplies and equipment (OSE).

According to Construction Week's sister title Hotelier Middle East, Danube has invested $5m (AED18.3m) to form the hospitality company, for which plans are in place to work with 18 hotel brands across the Middle East, as well as in India and Africa.

Commenting during the firm's launch, director of Danube Hospitality Solutions, Shubojit Mahalanobis, said: “We are overwhelmed with the initial pre-opening response from our clients and support of international brands."

Danube Group director and son of Rizwan Sajan, Adel Sajan, added: “It’s always been our mission to remain ahead of the curve and ignite innovative change, and Danube Hospitality Solutions will be the ideal platform just for that, while simultaneously showcasing our signature dedication to quality and affordability in this market.”
