Serving as chief executive officer of Dubai-listed development giant Deyaar since 2010 is Saeed Al Qatami.

The firm, which is behind the city’s Millennium Al Barsha, Midtown, and Millennium Atria Business Bay projects, among others, saw revenues remain largely flat at $47.9m (AED175.8m) in the first quarter of 2019 – a minor drop from Q1 2018’s $48m (AED176.5m) revenue figure.

“With several planned project launches and handovers in the coming year, we are looking forward to a strong 2019,” said Al Qatami, speaking about the results in May 2019.

“We will shortly be adding a second hospitality project to our portfolio when the Millennium Al Barsha launches in the next few months.”

As of February 2019, more than five million man-hours without loss-time injury were achieved at Deyaar’s Midtown project – a milestone made possible by good collaboration between all stakeholders. Belhasa Engineering is the project’s main contractor and has already overseen completion of Midtown’s superstructure.
