Shaun Killa debuted in the Construction Week Power 100 list last year. As the design partner at Killa Design, he has been exploring opportunities to tap into the Saudi Arabian market through specific projects and masterplans related to the kingdom’s gigaprojects, including the $500bn (SAR1.9tn) Neom development.

Killa Design is carrying out architectural work for the Museum of Dubai and is the firm behind the emirate’s Office of the Future, the world’s first 3D-printed building.

Earlier this year, the company revealed its plans to open two new offices in a move to expand its international footprint, and said it was considering the geographic markets of Australia, China, the UK, and Singapore.

Before establishing Killa Design, Killa spent 16 years at Atkins in different roles, including director of architecture, an experience he describes as “a great time”.
