2019 CW Power 100: Draw Link's Daousser Chennoufi features at #81
Principal and chief executive officer of Draw Link Group returns to 2019 Construction Week Power 100 ranking
The principal and chief executive officer of Draw Link Group, Daousser Chennoufi, returns to the Construction Week Power 100 in 2019.
Chennoufi founded the international architecture, interior design, and fit-out company in Dubai in 2006 and later expanded into Tunisia, Shanghai, Greece, and Kampala in Uganda.
The firm has completed projects within the hospitality, residential, food and beverage, and retail sectors.
Draw Link Group’s portfolio includes projects such as Kempinski Hotel, Rosemont Hotel & Residences, InterContinental Hotel and Hotel Apartments, and Mercato Restaurant in Dubai, in addition to villas within the Dubai Hills master-planned residential development in the city.
Moreover, Chennoufi is also the co-founder of Concreative 3D Concrete Printing, which specialises in concrete additive manufacturing that can help to align architecture plans with engineering constraints.
French construction company Vinci, through its subsidiary Freyssinet, announced the formal launch of Concreative in a press statement on 19 June.
The 3D-printing company launched a design-and-build factory in Dubai that will use technology from Xtree – a start-up in which Vinci is a partner and shareholder.
According to a report by Global Construction Review, a publication from the Chartered Institute of Building, the Chennoufi-led Draw Link is involved as co-founder of the 3D-printing factory.
