Jordan Prime Minister Omar Razzaz and his Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Madbouli signed eight memorandums of understanding (MoUs), including an agreement on housing and construction, on the side-lines of the Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee's 28th session in Cairo.

As part of the agreement, Egypt has pledged to resolve the complaints of the industrial sector related to the procedures of registering Jordanian companies in Egypt and vowed to grant them privileges.

Jordan news agency Petra said in an Arabic-language report that Egypt had also agreed to ensure that these procedures could be facilitated within a two-week period.

Both governments agreed for their public and private sectors to establish a logistics zone in Jordan to export services and contribute to the reconstruction and development processes of neighbouring countries.
