UAE tourist visa fee waiver for under-18 children from today
Children aged under 18 and accompanying their parents as tourists in the UAE to receive visa waiver until 15 September, 2019
The UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship’s (ICA) announcement to exempt visa fees for children aged under 18 years and accompanying their parents as tourists in the UAE takes effect from today, and will continue until 15 September, 2019.
The UAE's ICA issues two types of tourist visas, one of which is a 30-day visa valued at $54 (AED200) that can be extended twice.
The other option is a 90-day visa worth $150 (AED550) is also twice-extendable.
Extensions on both types of UAE tourist visas cost $163 (AED600).

A report by UAE state news agency, Wam, quoted director-general of Foreign Affairs and Ports at the ICA, Maj Gen Saeed Al Rashidi, stating that families could apply for the under-18 visa exemption through ICA’s e-systems by selecting the Tourist Visa Family option and filling in the details of both parents and children.
ICA said through its official Twitter handle that families could also apply for visas from authorised travel agencies and tourism companies, or through ICA’s website.
