Construction claims specialist HKA acquires The Kenrich Group

Acquisition of the American firm specialised in bankruptcy, construction delay and disruption, and fraud completed

HKA, a construction claims and dispute resolution consultancy and advisory, has acquired American business and litigation consulting firm The Kenrich Group, which employs 100 professionals in 11 offices across the US. 

The Kenrich Group was founded in 2004 and specialises in consulting and expert testimony in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial damages, construction delay and disruption, government contracts, intellectual property, and regulated utilities, in addition to forensic accounting, valuations, and fraud. 

Commenting on the development, partner and president of HKA’s Americas operations, Frank J Giunta, said: “The combination of HKA and The Kenrich Group has created the largest construction claims consultancy in the US and additionally provides our mutual clients with an established practice in commercial damages, government contract claims and regulated utilities consulting.

“Our combined resources offer our clients unparalleled capabilities,” he added in a statement by HKA.

Co-chief executive officer of The Kenrich Group, Ken Metcalfe, said: “HKA and The Kenrich Group are well established in their existing markets.

“We believe this union will take both firms to another level.”
