Kuwaiti meteorologist and historian Adel Al-Saadoun said Eid Al-Adha would fall on 11 August.

He told Kuwaiti state news agency Kuna that the first of Dhu al-Hijjah would be on Friday, 2 August and standing on Mount Arafat would be on Saturday, 10 August.

According to Arab Times, Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) said if Thulqida is of 29 days, Eid Al-Adha holidays will fall on 11-13 August, and if the month of Thulqida is of 30 days, Eid Al-Adha holidays will fall on 12-15 August. 

The GCC is gearing up for Eid Al-Adha.

Saudi Arabia’s stock exchange Tadawul announced it would take a nine-day Eid Al-Adha break, starting on 9 August, 2019.

The four-day Eid Al-Adha holiday for all private sector employees in the UAE was announced on 4 August, with Arafat Day to be observed on 9 Dhu Al Hijjah 1440 and Eid Al-Adha celebrated on 10, 11, and 12 of the Islamic month, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) said.
