HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, will follow up on the Emiratisation priority outlined by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as part of his ‘Letter of the New Season’, released on the occasion of the Islamic New Year 2019.

The Crown Prince directed the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai to lead Emiratisation and human development efforts in coordination with the UAE’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority, the Human Resources Department of the Government of Dubai, and other relevant public- and private-sector institutions.

Sheikh Hamdan added that a work plan would be prepared within two weeks to launch initiatives supporting the development of Emiratis and ensuring Sheikh Mohammed's vision is met, according to an Arabic-language report by Dubai Media Office.

The report cited Sheikh Hamdan as saying: “Emiratisation is at the forefront of government work and we are keen on harnessing all [options] to implement it in an integrated manner.”

Dubai Media Office added that Sheikh Hamdan said creating an environment conducive to the development of UAE nationals and their abilities was a priority for the government.
