Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) presented its integrated smart meters and smart city platforms as part of the Saudi Arabia Pavilion at the 24th World Energy Congress held in Abu Dhabi on 9-12 September, with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, HRH Abdulaziz Bin Salman, visiting AEC’s pavilion for updates on the company’s systems.

AEC’s advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) portfolio is used to measure, collect, analyse, and optimise energy consumption, whilst its smart meters are used for insights on utility consumption.

Commenting on AEC’s participation, president and chief executive officer of the company, Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, said: “We are pleased to have reached a new milestone in our growth journey with the successful conclusion of our participation in a strategic event like World Energy Congress.

“The congress offered us an excellent opportunity to gather deeper insights into the current and future trends in the energy industry as well as connect with our global and regional partners.

“The tremendous appreciation we received from the visitors will inspire us to continue developing innovative solutions that will cater to their evolving needs and contribute to the kingdom’s energy ambitions as envisaged in the Saudi Vision 2030,” Al-Duailej added, according to Saudi Arabia’s state news agency, SPA.
