Podcast: Al Tayer Stocks, LW Interiors’ 2019 CID Awards success
EXCLUSIVE: Latest episode of CW viewpoint highlights Al Tayer Stocks and BW Interiors' success at the CID Awards
Dubai-based contractors Al Tayer Stocks and LW Interiors claimed the fit-out firm of the year and interior fit-out project of the year for the Avli by Tashas development in DIFC, respectively at the 2019 Commercial Interior Design Awards (CID), and in this episode, Construction Week’s features writer Ashley Williams sits down with Commercial Interior Design editor, Oscar Rousseau, on why the firms stood out from the crowd.
During the podcast, Rousseau talked about how the awards highlighted businesses, such as Al Tayer Stock and BW Interiors, efforts in the market despite a “challenging economic environment”.
“Both Al Tayer Stocks and BW Interiors clearly had a very good year,” said Rousseau. “Al Tayer Stocks completed 56 projects and increased its turnover by 10% and retained 65% of its staff since launching 20 years ago, as well as increasing repeat business by 3%, which is up to 88%.”
He added: “The BW Interior’s Avli by Tashas development was an absolutely gorgeous project, which is an rustic Greek restaurant in DIFC and won the interior fit-out project of the year for the second time in a row.”
