On 31 October, the number of people using Dubai metro services climbed to 700,000, while the Dubai Tram served 23,763 people

1.7m riders used metro and tram in 3 days of Dubai Super Sale

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said that the Dubai Metro and Tram transported 1.757m passengers, including 1.699m by metro and 57,837 tram riders between 31 October and 2 November – the three-day period during which the seventh Dubai Super Sale was held.

On Thursday, 31 October, Dubai Metro numbers reached the third-highest recorded in 2018 and 2019, with more than 700,000 people using its services.

Dubai Tram helped ferry 23,763 people on 31 October, the second-highest number of riders recorded by the tram in 2018 and 2019 – second only to New Year’s Eve last year, when the tram served about 33,000 people.
