Air Partner debuts in the Middle East with Dubai office opening
The move is part of the global aviation services group’s aim to grow its market share in the region
Global aviation services group, Air Partner, has entered into the Middle East market for the first time after opening an office in Dubai’s DMCC.
The move is part of the group’s efforts to “strengthen its presence” in the region, as well as expand its global footprint.
The latest opening will be the fourth Air Partner office to open in the last 18 months across the world, which will comprise group charter, private jets and freight.
Air Partner’s first office in the Middle East will be headed up by general manager Jobby George.
Commenting on the expansion, Mark Briffa, CEO of Air Partner, said: “Dubai is one of the world's leading financial hubs and so it was a logical step for us to establish our first office in the Middle East here, given the range of sectors and customers that will benefit from our extensive portfolio of services.
He added: “We see a wealth of opportunity, both in Dubai itself and the surrounding areas, and are excited about our future in the Middle Eastern market. It’s an exciting time for the city as it gears up for Expo 2020 Dubai next year and we look forward to being part of it as we support new and existing customers.”
