ADNOC unveils ‘On the Go’ fuelling stations amid UAE expansion
50 ‘ADNOC On the Go’ stations planned across the UAE by the end of 2020
UAE government-owned Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has launched the ‘ADNOC On the go’ station specially designed for communities and neighbourhoods as part of its expansion plans across the country.
Announced during the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, ADNOC distribution chairman and CEO, HE Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, revealed that 50 on-the-go concept stations will be introduced across the UAE by the end of 2020.
The initiative is a part of ADNOC’s focus on utilising new digital technologies to improve customer experience.
The firm said that each ‘ADNOC On the go’ service station will be custom designed to meet the needs of an individual neighbourhood in terms of size, the number of pumps and type of Oasis store.
Expansion plans include "five star" highway versions that cater to long distance travellers, as well as industrial areas to ensure that the network supports both residents as well as businesses across the country.
“Our new ‘ADNOC On the go’ stations are designed to be installed in neighbourhoods throughout the UAE, advancing the nation’s economic and infrastructure development,” said HE Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
“The smart technologies we are applying, will enhance our customers’ journey, providing a more convenient and seamless fuelling and shopping experience.”
In addition to opening 50 ‘ADNOC On the go’ stations by 2020, ADNOC Distribution also aims to upgrade all of its existing ADNOC Oasis convenience stores by the end of 2021.
