Azizi Developments announces plans to boost brokerage network
Shift in strategy follows channel partner sales surging 15% during the last six months relative to in-house sales
UAE-based developer Azizi Developments has announced that it is taking steps to strengthen its brokerage network, with channel partner sales surging 15% during the last six months relative to in-house sales.
The decision to adopt a brokerage-oriented method of conducting business is in line with best practices in mature markets, the company said in a statement.
The move will see the real estate developer focus on outsourcing sales rather than executing them directly.
Commenting on the strategic shift, chief executive officer of Azizi Developments, Farhad Azizi, said: “We believe that sales are best left to brokerage firms who specialise in this realm. Our in-house team will focus more on managing our relationships with our valued channel partners, supporting them in completing sales. This is the model that we are moving towards, which is already a best practice in mature markets. With Dubai evolving so rapidly, a progression that we are very proud to be a part of, we are now pursuing this practice ourselves.”
Azizi added: “Brokerage firms are of tremendous importance to the real estate industry and to us as a developer. They are the experienced intermediary that upholds the client's best interests and facilitates a transparent flow of information. In 2019 alone, Azizi’s contractors have casted over 117 slabs; poured over 165,000 tonnes of concrete; erected more than 45 cranes; and constructed over 120,744m2 across Azizi Developments’ ongoing projects.
The company currently has 54 projects that are to be delivered between 2019 and 2023, and more than 130 projects in the planning phase, projected to be delivered between 2023 and 2025.
