UAE Minister presented with London ICE fellowship
HE Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi receives the highest membership degree in civil engineering from Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
The UAE Minister of Infrastructure Development and chairman of the Federal Transport Authority (FTA) – Land & Maritime, HE Dr Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi has been conferred a Fellowship certificate from the London Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
The certificate was presented to the UAE Minister by the president of the institute, Paul Sheffield, in the presence of Rawdha Al Otaiba, deputy head of Mission at the UAE Embassy in London.
The certificate, which is the highest membership degree in civil engineering practice, is granted to engineers based on their experience and achievements in the civil engineering, as well as their degree of professionalism, leadership, and professional excellence.
Receiving the award, HE Al Nuaimi described ICE as a rich source of knowledge, especially for Emiratis studying civil engineering. He pointed to the support provided through professional development, training courses, as well as other benefits such as career development opportunities and access to a wide network of professionals.
