Oman's Ministry of Housing distributes 80 social housing units
More than 250 housing units currently under construction are close to completion, and are likely to be handed over soon
Oman’s Ministry of Housing has begun distributing social housing units to the sultanate’s citizens in the Al-Mazyona province of the Dhofar governorate.
The acting director-general of Housing in the Dhofar governorate, Hassan bin Ali Al-Rawas, stated that 80 housing units have been distributed.
In addition, more than 250 housing units under construction are close to completion, according to the state-run Oman News Agency.
The handover of the housing units was attended by the governor of Al-Mazyona, Sheikh Bakhit bin Salem Al-Ma’ashni, who explained that the units include all the necessary amenities of a modern life, providing stability to Omani nationals and their families.
