Arcadis to ‘disrupt’ the industry with launch of digital entity
Arcadis Gen, the recently launched global digital business, is part of the firm's 'digital transformation' journey
Construction consultancy Arcadis launched a global digital business, Arcadis Gen, in its latest move towards becoming a digitally enabled business.
The new entity is expected to accelerate Arcadis’ industry-driven digital transformation with a focus on the development of several scalable digital propositions.
Speaking about the consultancy’s vision towards a digital future, chief executive officer of Arcadis, Peter Oosterveer, said: “Arcadis Gen is a vital step in Arcadis’ digital transformation. Together, we will positively disrupt the industry and help our clients harness the power of data to transform their businesses.”
Arcadis Gen’s current solutions are structured to improve performance and optimise decision-making for customers, ensuring maximum value of data.
The solutions include Enterprise Asset Management, Asset Investment Planning and Asset Performance Management; to be put in operation from the earliest stages of strategic planning through to delivery.
Arcadis Gen will be led by chief executive, Rachel White, and will operate as a separate legal entity, the firm revealed.
With a base of 200 employees globally, it brings together recent acquisitions SEAMS and EAMS Group with software development specialists from the Arcadis business.
Commenting on the entity, White, said: “We’re doing something the industry hasn’t seen before. We’re bringing together some of Arcadis’ brightest digital minds to provide customers with next generation insights, explore bold business models, and innovate digital solutions seamlessly.”
