Editor's Letter: Revealing the revamp at CW Middle East
Construction Week is set for a makeover with new branding to be displayed from our February issue
The start of 2020 has, as I expected, flown by as we begin promoting all the exciting plans and goals that we have for Construction Week for the coming year – which we can now finally reveal to our readers.
The last two weeks for the team has involved meeting several construction heavyweights from across the Middle East to discuss the direction that Construction Week is heading towards.
After much deliberation and finalising amongst the team, I am delighted to reveal that we will have fresh branding for Construction Week, which I believe is a big step for the brand.
I am extremely pleased with the final outcome of the re-design, which is visually sharper and will further enhance the reputation of the title.
We will be rolling out our new look in our next issue in February.
And February is also expected to be a busy month, with two new YouTube series launching for Construction Week.
I don’t want to give away too many spoilers for the shows, but I’ll leave you in suspense with a few teasers for the series.
The first show will be named In-Site – a once a week series where we will be based on construction sites across the Middle East exploring the different elements of the development and creating a narrative through a detailed video production.
We can also give you some details about our new talk show, which will roll out as a once a month series.
Plans for the talk show will involve inviting leading industry members from the region to discuss some of the most engaging and current topics happening throughout the region, which we hope will stir up lots of debates.
The show will also have a live audience with a Q&A session at the end of the debate for those looking to get any queries or questions off their chest.
2020 is expected to be pivotal year for the industry and we want to offer the best coverage possible to keep our readers continually entertained and up-to-date with the latest developments through different media avenues.
We can’t wait for all our hard work to pay off, and I look forward to receiving the feedback that is expected from our readers of the revamp and new digital shows.
If anybody is interested in showcasing their projects or has any ideas for the talk show, then please get in touch and we would be happy to hear from you.
