The Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) general headquarters has called on the public to take make the most of its 50% discount on traffic violations committed in the emirate, before the initiative ends on 22 March.

The Abu Dhabi Police has called on motorists to ensure that all outstanding traffic fines are paid within the said period, and to settle their legal status.

The initiative is expected to provide motorists and drivers with an incentive to adhere to the laws of the roads and traffic systems, and reduce the number of traffic violations, ensuring safety and security of travellers commuting within the emirate.

The three-month initiative, which began in December 2019, included a 50% discount on traffic fines, cancellation of vehicles impounded, and black traffic points due to violations committed prior to 22 December, 2019.
