With preventive measures in place, KEO International Consultants president and chief executive officer, Donna Sultan, anticipates “no loss of business continuity” as the company adopts a remote working system for its employees to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“The health and welfare of our staff, their families, our partners, clients and the communities in which we operate, remains as our number one priority,” Sultan said in the statement.

Outlining the policies and procedures the company has adopted to combat the pandemic, Sultan said that KEO formed a task force from the early days of the coronavirus outbreak.

This included deploying health and safety specialists who reviewed all developments, advisories, and official notifications issued by all governmental authorities on the pandemic in each of the countries it operates in.

Sultan said: “The task force regularly issues our Coronavirus Exceptional Policy updates and maintains interactive webpages for all staff, keeping them informed of the latest news and company policies that must be adhered to.”

The company has been following quarantine regulations mandated by the World Health Organisation (WHO), with policies being issued for its staff.

This comprises restrictions on international and regional travel, attending any events, limiting visitors, utilising teleconferencing for meetings, in addition to adopting health screening measures, and implementing cleaning and sanitisation programmes.

KEO International Consultants is currently working on Abu Dhabi-based property developer Miral's Yas Village.
