UAE-based global ports operator DP World has issued a response to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, stating that it will continue to closely monitor the global impact of the virus, and will adhere to the guidelines prescribed by the government and health authorities.

The company said in its statement that it has 'robust business continuity plans in place, and is ensuring stability and limiting disruption across its operational activities', while adopting the highest set safety standards.
Recently, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met various government entities, including DP World, to laud their efforts in countering the virus outbreak
