Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya Investment Company recently offered the option of remote work to its employees, in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Qiddiya's chief executive officer, Michael Reininger, noted that despite the challenges associated with the novel coronavirus, the company has "remained connected and collectively focused on its mission."

Reininger displayed optimism through his message posted on LinkedIn, and said: "We [Qiddiya] will work through this together and will come out wiser and better capable for the next unpredictable situation," adding that optimism is what Qiddiya is born from.

The company, which is making use of the Microsoft Teams application for its workplace communication, has recorded more than 310 users, as well as 7,000 and 6,000 audio and video calls, within the first two weeks of remote working.

Furthermore, Reininger urged all employees to take all the necessary precautionary measures in order to ensure complete safety.
