DEWA's smart services ranked among top three in Dubai
Currently, 95% customers use its smart services, having conducted over 2.5 million smart transactions during Q1 20
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority's (DEWA) smart app and its website has been ranked among the top three (apps and websites) in the emirate.
The rankings are based on an evaluation done by the Dubai Model Centre of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai, which evaluated more than 100 websites and smart apps of government entities in Dubai.
Speaking about the achievement, managing director and chief executive officer of DEWA, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, said: “DEWA came in first place in the 2019 Dubai Customer Happiness Index by The General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai with 90.1%. DEWA also achieved 95.7% in the Smart Dubai Happiness Index.
We will continue our efforts to enhance the customer experience through our smart channels that adopt the highest standards of quality, efficiency, privacy and security. We will ensure our customers can access all services and information and complete their transactions easily."
Currently, 95% of DEWA’s customers use its smart services. All of DEWA’s services are available through several smart channels. DEWA’s customers conducted over 2.5 million smart transactions during Q1 20.
The authority was ranked by Smart Dubai among the 14 UAE government entities that successfully brought down their paper consumption by 64.9% to date, representative of its efforts to go smart and digital, Construction Week earlier reported.
In addition, DEWA revealed previously that its virtual employee – Rammas – which runs on artificial Intelligence (AI), has responded to more than 1.2 million queries in 2019.
