2020 CW Power 100: Cundall's Richard Stratton ranked at No. 51
Cundall recorded "an exceptional year" for the Middle East and North Africa business in 2019 under Stratton's leadership
Making the Power 100 ranking once again is Richard Stratton, who climbs 41 positions this year. Under Stratton’s stewardship, international consultancy firm Cundall recorded 2019 as “an exceptional year” for its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) business.
In 2019, Cundall’s MENA revenue witnessed approximately an 70% jump to $11.15m (AED40.95m), compared to 2018, while profits spiked by 11.38%.
Cundall’s project portfolio continued to shine in 2019 as the consultancy firm worked on major construction projects including ENOC Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai; AMC Cinemas in Saudi Arabia as the multidisciplinary design consultant; and the Dark Sky Initiative for The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC), where it will design a lighting strategy for the safe movement around the 28,000km2 site of The Red Sea Project.
In the past 12 months, Cundall has further developed its business into both rail and entertainment sectors; and it continues to work on “more exciting projects” in the kingdom. Cundall is also currently planning to open an office in Saudi Arabia.
Taking its sustainability efforts to the next level, Cundall committed to make its entire business Net Zero by mid-2020 and Net Positive by 2025.
