Saeed Al Abbar – who founded AESG in 2010 – has built the firm into one of the Middle East and Europe’s largest specialist consultancy, engineering, and advisory firms with a core focus on sustainable urban development.
Over the past 12 months, under Saeed’s leadership, AESG posted a 35% year-on-year increase in gross revenue, and a 43% year-on-year increase in staff headcount. For 2020, AESG has budgeted for 30% YoY growth in both revenue and consultant headcount.
“We are confident of achieving this despite challenging market conditions,” Saeed Al Abbar said in conversation with Construction Week.
In addition to this, AESG was among the first 50 global signatories of the World Green Building Council Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment. As part of this commitment, AESG aims to provide a pathway to net zero carbon on all its design projects.
