Seymour led the firm from an engineering designer to a design based programme management & advisory consultancy
Making his debut in the Power 100 list in 2020 is Mott MacDonald’s Chris Seymour.
The managing director for the Middle East has led the transformation of Mott MacDonald from an engineering designer to a design based programme management and advisory consultancy covering five sectors and five countries in the Middle East.
Over the past 12 months the company has worked on projects including, The Red Sea project in Saudi Arabia; Abu Dhabi Airport; M-Station power station for DEWA; Al Hamra water transmission project in Oman; Kuwait International Airport expansion; and the 4th Ring Road project in Kuwait.
In addition to Habshan 5 Gas Processing Project for ADNOC; environmental capital smart mapping for the UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environment; and the New Zealand Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
2019 saw the company expand into the Saudi Arabian market and create initial prospects in Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq in the Middle East.
Additionally, Mott MacDonald has also changed the delivery of technical engineering input in public-private partnership (PPP) transaction advisory by creating mixed teams of procurement professionals and subject matter experts.
