Abu Dhabi recently marked successful completion on the 10-day sanitation and screening campaign in Al Dhafrah region's industrial areas, as part of the National Screening Programme in the emirate, and in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The completion of the campaign has resulted in the containment or reduction in the spread of the virus in the area, UAE's state run news agency Abu Dhabi Media Office tweeted.

Through the campaign, Al Dhafrah residents received healthcare and support services: free transportation, medical assessment and multi-language awareness programmes for 66,000 residents; sanitisation of more than 50 residential complexes; distribution of 3,00,000 face masks; and screening for 701 buildings.
