ADM held a workshop which was attended remotely by 471 participants representing partners in the real estate sector
Abu Dhabi Municipality through the emirate's Land and Real Estate Sector recently held a specialised awareness workshop catered to real estate professionals to enlist and explain the methodologies for obtaining a license electronically.
The governmental body also confirmed the prescribed rules associated with obtaining a license before practicing real estate profession in the emirate, in accordance with Abu Dhabi Real Estate Regulation Law No. 3 of 2015.
As part of its efforts to advance real estate professions in the emirate and encourage their practice in accordance with international best practices, the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) issued a decision that exempts real estate professionals from fees for obtaining a license, with the exception of the real estate brokerage firm’s license and the principal developer’s license.
The workshop was attended remotely by 471 participants representing strategic partners in the real estate sector and the real estate professions, including brokerage companies, developers, surveying companies, real estate residents, auctioneers, banks and financial auditors.
