The Al Maabar Aqaba Real Estate Development Company has awarded a project management contract to Hill International for Phase 1 of the Marsa Zayed in Aqaba, touted as the largest real estate and tourism project ever in the history of Jordan.
In a press release, the company said it had awarded project management services to Hill International Company and the building design consultation to Maisam Architects and Engineers office. The three-year project includes developing 3320 hectares in Aqaba, with a new 2km waterfront.
Al Maabar MD Yousef Nowais said this important step underscores “the company’s commitment to the timetable for the implementation of the project.”
When complete, the development will offer premium residential villas, townhouses, apartment units and hotel rooms as well as business, leisure and tourism facilities.
