Lafarge Emirates Cement opens its first distribution centre in the region, in cooperation with Al Saeed Al Zaabi General Trading.
The new centre which is located in the Mussaffah Industrial Area in Abu Dhabi was inaugurated on Tuesday by Antoine Duclaux, CEO of Lafarge Emirates Cement.
“The new showroom located in Mussaffah Industrial Area is a big achievement as per Lafarge strategic plan to open its first distribution centre in the region, we are contributing in the construction s growth market in the UAE by offering quality products,” said Duclaux.
Adham El-Sharkawy, Commercial Director, Lafarge Emirates Cement said the cement industry in the region has witnessed massive growth, “In the past few years, the region has witnessed a milestone in the cement industry, and has also become the fundamental pillars for economic growth, by providing new sources and job opportunity for many employers. It reflects the increasing volume of cement production in the Arab region”.
