The Partnerships Technical Bureau (PTB), responsible for PPP projects in Kuwait, is seeking a transaction advisor for the procurement of Phase 1 for the Kuwait Metropolitan Rapid Transit project.
The project will be procured under the Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain model, in accordance with Law No. 7/2008, the PPP law and its bylaws and guidelines, PTB explains in an advertisement for requests for proposals.
“The Procurement Transaction Advisor firm / consortium must have a successful and verifiable experience in doing similar transactions, having a minimum expertise in technical, legal, environmental and financial aspects,” it states.
These include intermodal metropolitan rapid transit / urban mass transport projects, district cooling, contract management and PPP projects.
Interested parties are required to purchase the RFP document from PTB. An authorisation letter should be issued from the advisory firm / consortium lead member, if any, stipulating that the representative is duly authorised to purchase said document, by submitting a certified cheque for KD5,000.
RFPs are available from the day of the advertisement until 12:00 on Thursday 2 August. Technical and financial proposals can be submitted from Sunday 26 August up to 12:00 on Thursday 20 September.
