Injaz Development has held a specialised workshop on assessing residential project potential in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province at Cityscape Riyadh 2012.

The workshop was organised by Omar Al-Kadi, Injaz CEO and MD, attended, among other, by Eng. Sami Haddad, planning director at the Eastern Province Municipality.

Al Kadi said: “The Eastern Province has strategically positioned itself as the third largest investment destination in Saudi Arabia. Demand for low and middle-income housing projects has seen a marked increased as a result of limited supply, and is estimated at 166,000 units per annum.”

Injazz is currently working on its 330-hectare Al Marina project in the Eastern Province on the Al-Khobar-Dammam coastal corridor, poised to cater to the business, tourism and residential needs.

The discussions underlined the importance of such projects in driving socioeconomic development, and participiants agreed that an integrated plan should be laid down for the Province’s major cities.

The workshop also highlighted King Fahd Park, and the ongoing projects in Al Azizia and Al Hamra.
