Hewitt Construction Consultancy is to deliver a two-day intensive training course on construction claims to professionals in Dubai on 4 and 5 March.
The course is designed to provide both contractors and clients with the knowledge necessary to manage, prepare, present and respond to construction claims in an effective and professional manner.
Course developer and leading presenter, Andy Hewitt, who is also the principal of Hewitt Construction Consultancy, said: “Since the launch of Claims Class, we have had many positive responses and last year the course was well received in Abu Dhabi.
“The current market within the construction industry in Dubai, along with the recent announcement of the Expo 2020 win, means that claims are also likely to increase and we are excited to provide construction professionals with the opportunity to learn how to properly deal with claims and to increase their company’s bottom line on projects.”
Construction projects in the UAE often face common problems such as site access issues, incomplete design information, design specification changes and delays in approvals of shop drawings and materials. These problems often lead to disruption and delays in the works which subsequently gives rise to claims.
A venue for the course is to be confirmed.
