“Our project ‘Moderna’ within Oman Island was a special opportunity for us to showcase our potential and create a truly iconic project with innovative materials, design practices and construction technologies,” says Asad Abdullah Farid, the chairman of Inspire, on The World Islands project.

He says the project will have solar panels and water filtration techniques in line with current sustainability requirements, noting that they will also utilise modular construction with 90% of the work to be completed from factories to reduce carbon emissions.

Farid elaborates on the sustainability topic: “Environmental studies will be conducted within The World Islands project to maintain and flourish the existing ecosystem. We also intend to increase the green area within the project.”

He adds that construction will be fast-tracked once they pass the tendering and contracting phase, and the project is expected to be complete by 2023. “The total area covers more than half a million in size,” Farid says, adding that the project will be completed within a year since Inspire uses technologies such as prefabricated concrete and 3D printing.

He continues: “Our central vision is to show that we can construct environmentally green projects, using materials such as hemp concrete instead of regular concrete. It is more durable, non-flammable, nature-based and lighter. In addition, we intend to replace ordinary steel with basalt fibres that are 2.5 times stronger, 4.5 times more lightweight, and anti-rust.”

He also reiterates that modular construction will allow them to reduce the CO2 emission massively; meanwhile, utilising electrical machines supported by Tesla batteries to aid in the green endeavour.

Moreover, Farid adds that projects will use sustainable materials such as LED lights, hemp wood, natural stone, and low VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint.

Surrounded by crystalline waters and white powdered sand, Inspire’s villas within Oman Island will each have a private pool in addition to a private beach with luxury amenities such as spas, massage centres, bars and restaurants, a gym, a cinema, among others, for the whole island.

These standalone villas will contain an exceptional landscape in addition to a unique entrance to the villa. The first floor will have the salon, dining room, kitchen, guest bedroom, common restroom, laundry room, and the maid and the driver’s room, while the first floor will have four bedrooms with balconies.

Farid says they are building 10 exclusive modern villas where residents can enjoy, relax and live in a serene community. “Each of the villas will cost $440,000, and the overall area will be 427m2,” he states, adding that the villas will have two swimming pools – an infinity pool on the roof and another massive pool in the garden.

According to Farid, the homes will be fitted with smart home technology and incorporate natural marble and wood finishes so that its interiors have a comfortable and luxurious feel. He also points out that natural stone and teak wood will cover most of the villas’ façades for a unique style so that clients can enjoy the luxurious design of the interior and exterior of the house.

Moreover, minutes away from Lahore City, DHQ Hospital, and Shahdara, the project will ensure that its residents have a luxury living standard with a unique lifestyle, entertainment, and environment factor.”

“We always want to lead the way and develop and design exceptional projects worldwide. Sustainability is the core tenet of our constantly evolving and expanding projects. Consequently, balancing modern practices with traditional styles to create naturally engaging spaces that connect its occupants to the city’s dynamic history is an integral part of our process.

“With modern design strategies and stunning projects, Inspire is proud to collaborate with leading developers in the region and elsewhere to create vibrant, inspirational structures,” concludes Farid.
