CW Oman Awards 20: KEO claims Residential Project of the Year
Multi-disciplinary consultancy practice virtually picked up the award for its Muscat Bay development
Multi-disciplinary consultancy practice KEO International Consultants has scooped the Residential Project of the Year at our first ever virtual Construction Week Oman Awards.
The firm picked up the awards for its involvement in developing Muscat Bay – a mixed-use development comprising hotels, villas and retail shopping centres.
Muscat Bay completed the first phase of its residential developments in Q2 2019.
In its submission, KEO said Muscat Bay was a key part of Oman’s vision to strengthen and diversify the economy, by growing the sultanate’s tourism sector.
The other shortlisted nominees for the Residential Project of the Year accolade at the Construction Week Oman Awards 2020 comprised Al Tasnim Group’s Phase 2 of the Ras Al Hamra development.
The Construction Week Oman Awards 2020 were supported by Silver Sponsors – Tenable Fire Engineering Consultancy and KEO International Consultants; The Chartered Institute of Building as our Supporting Sponsor; ProTenders being the Intelligence Partner; and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as the Training Partner.
Following its category win, KEO International Consultants will now be shortlisted for the Residential Project of the Year for the Construction Week Awards, which is taking place in Dubai from the 9 December 2020.
