Construction Week launches KSA Summit in March 2020
The event will have four panel discussions to discuss the opportunities for Saudi Arabia's construction sector
The construction industry’s duties to fulfil Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda, set out by the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, are beginning to take shape as we are witnessing some of the most exciting and remarkable projects that the Middle East has to offer.
At Construction Week, we want to share what Saudi Arabia’s building sector is exploring through our KSA Summit in Riyadh on Wednesday 4 March 2020 at an unconfirmed venue comprising four panel discussions, as well as targeting some of the biggest names across the industry to speak at the event.
The first panel will delve into sustainability opportunities, which also plays a key part of the Vision 2030 agenda. Our panel will discuss Saudi’s green building movement from technology advances for smart cities to residential projects across the kingdom.
The second panel discussion will explore the current status of Saudi Arabia’s gigaprojects and how it is set to change the country in terms of reducing its dependence on oil and diversifying its economy by creating an exhilarating public service sector.
We will also be exploring how Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure sector is adapting with the changing marketplace by welcoming all genders, ages, and nationalities with no division to entertainment projects.
The final discussion will look into the design and modular construction of buildings in Saudi Arabia, comparing today’s interiors and pre-fabricated buildings to a decade ago.
The summit will be a half-day event which will run from 9am-12:30pm, with a 15 minute refreshment after the second panel discussion.
We are expecting around 100 people to attend the event, which we hope will educate and offer an insight into the rapid growth and development of Saudi Arabia’s construction industry.
