CW’s Leaders UAE set for revamp with four new panels
Our virtual event will explore the opportunities of tech, sustainability, stakeholder partnerships and legal services
Construction Week can reveal that we have given our Leaders in Construction UAE event a makeover for this year with four new panel discussions to debate key and current topics from the Middle East’s built environment.
Set to take place virtually for the first time, the Leaders UAE event will be split into two days comprising a keynote speech and four panel discussions.
Taking place on the 15 September 2020 from 2pm, the event will begin with a keynote speech from an influential member of the industry to discuss the current construction market in the UAE.
The agenda of the event will then turn to the acceleration in technology and how the shift in digitisation has become more important than ever as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first day will then be concluded by delving into the sustainable outlook for the UAE’s construction market and who do we turn to make sure we protect the future of the industry.
The remaining two panels will be held on 16 September from 2pm with an introduction and recap of day one with Construction Week’s editor Ashley Williams.
We will then turn our attentions to the importance of stakeholder collaboration during these times. As the industry faces multiple challenges, we will discuss with top contractors and consultancies whether there is a need for joint ventures or more collaborations to overcome these barriers.
The final discussion of the day will explore how the industry can seek advice from a panel of legal and construction experts for those feeling the pinch from the impact of COVID-19.
