Leaders UAE 2020: Technology Acceleration speakers unveiled

Construction Week’s virtual Leaders UAE conference will begin proceedings on the 15 September at 2:05pm with the Technology Acceleration panel, and we can now confirm our exciting line-up of speakers.

Taking part on the Technology Acceleration panel will be Kleindienst Group’s chairman, Josef Kleindienst, Cundall’s operations director, Lee French, and Mott MacDonald’s territory manager Farah Kurdi.

The Technology Acceleration panel will explore a variety of topics including the rise in cyberattacks from the increased use of digital applications for business operations, smart cities, and what are the efficient forms of technologies for building.

The Leaders UAE event will be split across two days starting on the 15 September at 2:05pm (UAE time) with the Technology Acceleration panel and end on the following day at 2:50pm.

The entire conference will comprise three other panel discussions on Building for a Sustainable Future, Stakeholder Collaboration and Knowing your Rights.

Following the Technology Acceleration speaker announcement, we have now finalised our agenda for Leaders UAE.

For the Building for a Sustainable Future panel, we announced that AESG’s director of energy and sustainable development, Phillipa Grant, Burohappold’s head of innovation and sustainable solution, Farah Naz, and Samana Developer’s chief executive officer Imran Farooq will speak on the 15 September at 2:50pm.

Opening up day two of the conference on the 16 September from 2:05pm will be the Stakeholder Collaboration panel featuring ALEC’s CEO Kez Taylor, Cundall’s managing director and partner for MENA region, Richard Stratton, and Pinsent Masons’ head of the Middle East Catherine Workman.

We will conclude the conference with the Knowing your Rights discussion which will feature HKA’s partner Haroon Niazi, Reed Smith’s head of Middle East, Sachin Kerur, and Pinsent Masons head of risk advisory services for the Middle East, Mark Raymont on the 16 September at 2:50pm.
