Over the past decade, Saudi Arabia has witnessed some of the highest scales of investments in transport and related infrastructure. This has been aligned with the Kingdom’s economic reforms as a part of its Vision 2030, which is aimed at strengthening its non-oil revenues.
Playing a significant role in helping the oil-rich nation achieve its ambitions in line with the national vision are the real estate, construction, and infrastructure projects as well as the development of multi-billion dollar gigaprojects.
Construction Week Middle East has been closely following the growth of the construction and infrastructure sector in the Kingdom. We continue to support the Kingdom’s ambitious journey to achieve the Vision 2030 goals and create more opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
We have been doing this through our conferences and events in Saudi Arabia. And this year, with several fascinating events planned for the kingdom, we open our events calendar in the country with the KSA Infrastructure Summit 2022.
Scheduled for 29 March 2022, the summit will take place at the magnificent Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences, starting at 10:00 AM.
Once again through a line-up of industry experts, government representatives, industry experts, and key construction stakeholders, we will address the challenges and opportunities surrounding KSA’s infrastructure development. We will also highlight several aspects of the growth of infrastructure across transport and social infrastructure projects.
As home to some of the biggest infra projects in the region including the upcoming Riyadh Metro, Jeddah Metro, Makkah Public Transport Programme, AlUla International Airport, Red Sea International Airport, among others, Saudi Arabia is witnessing a transformation in its infrastructure which is further supported by the launch of the new National Infrastructure Fund (NIF).
This year we have redesigned our conference agenda to include not just panel discussions around pertinent topics related to the infrastructure sector but have also introduced presentations to share knowledge and experiences by key construction stakeholders.
Opening with a keynote speech that will focus on the impact of the burgeoning infrastructure sector in Saudi Arabia on Vision 2030, the event will have panel discussions on topics including Analysing the National Infrastructure Fund (NIF); Driving the Growth of Renewables Infrastructure; Addressing the Challenges Facing Smart Cities Infrastructure; and Designing the Infrastructure of the Future.
We are excited to once again meet the industry on the ground in Riyadh to take our discussions forward and look into the future of the infrastructure sector in the Kingdom.
