Sena Gbedemah has been confirmed as a Speaker for the Construction Week KSA Infrastructure Summit 2023 in June. Featuring some of Saudi Arabia’s leading infrastructure experts, the event will be held on 13 June 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh Al Waha hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

About Sena Gbedemah

Ankura’s Senior Managing Director for the Construction Disputes division, Sena, has built a career specialising in the delivery of projects in the energy, transport, built environment, and technology sectors across the EMEA region. He is an expert in delay and disruption claims, having amassed 28 years of experience working roles at every stage of the project cycle for public and private clients, in addition to having given evidence in mediation and adjudication as well as testimony in several arbitrations. He has also reviewed project governance processes and structures on underperforming projects.

A Chartered Civil Engineer, he holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Manchester University and a masters in construction management From Kingston University, as well as law graduate and post graduate degrees from BPP law school, in the UK.

He has published five papers on delay related topics to the Society of Construction Law, International Bar Association (IBA) and American Bar Association (ABA), including: The pitfalls of Acceleration: Recovering from a Sustained Lockdown, in 2020, and Termination of Construction Contracts, in 2021.
