Exploring emerging methods of digitalisation in construction
Construction Week, Autodesk, Redington event to focus on artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, big data and analytics
With awareness growing for digitilisation applications across the Middle East, Construction Week has unveiled a brand new event as part of a collaboration with American multinational software organisation Autodesk and Indian firm Redington focusing on the technologies that the construction industry is adopting.
Taking place in Dubai at the beginning of February 2020, the event will focus on new-age technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, big data and analytics, internet of things (IoT), and 5G communications.
The event is expecting around 60-80 guests for the event comprising contractors, project managers, and those involved with building information modelling (BIM) and design managers.
Construction Week’s editor, Ashley Williams, will begin proceedings by delivering a keynote speech on digital construction exploring the new opportunities for digitalisation for the sector across the Middle East.
The next three speakers will be representatives from Autodesk, who will discuss future project collaboration models, transitioning from 2D to 3D, and making the move to BIM, which will result in winning further work, how it will increase profits, and whether these technologies can minimise risks at construction sites.
This will follow with a luncheon and networking opportunities with fellow like-minded peers.
Construction Week’s team will also be on hand during and after the event to answer any questions you may have about the drive for technology in the region.
