HE Abdulla Al Habbai

Chairman, Meraas Holding Group
Mohammed Al Rais
José Antonio López-Monís

HE Abdulla Ahmed Mohammed Al Habbai and his team at Meraas certainly haven’t been taking it easy over the past 12 months. The UAE-headquartered developer is pushing forward with a diverse selection of large-scale projects, especially in its home emirate of Dubai. The company’s current portfolio includes developments such as Bluewaters, City Walk, and Dubai Parks and Resorts (DPR). The latter is a multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination that will feature Legoland Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Motiongate Dubai, Legoland Water Park, Riverland Dubai, and Lapita Dubai. This year has also seen a broad selection of launches from Al Habbai and his colleagues, including City Walk’s The Green Planet – a development that will boast the Middle East’s first ‘bio-dome’. Once complete, the eco-minded structure, which has been designed to recreate a tropical rainforest, will become home to more than 3,000 plants and animals.
