Mark Andrews, MD of contractor Laing O’Rourke, is this year’s highest new entry. Andrews, who joined the firm two years ago, boasts more than three decades’ experience in the construction industry. In its financial year 2014/15, Laing O’Rourke achieved revenues of $5.6m (GBP3.85). At year-end 2015, the firm had a secure pipeline of $13.4bn (GBP9.2bn), and ‘in-bid’ opportunities worth approximately $32.5bn across its European and Australian markets. During the coming year in the UAE, Andrews and his colleagues will continue to work at Dubai Parks & Resorts (DPR), the Aloft Hotel, and the Khazna Data Centre.
